Thames Tideway Tunnel

The Thames Tideway Tunnel is a £4.6–£5bn “super sewer” designed to reduce sewage discharges into the River Thames and significantly upgrade London’s wastewater capacity. Fully operational by early 2025, the 25km deep‑level tunnel involved complex civils, mechanical, and marine interfaces across multiple work sites.

PPS involvement included supporting key contractors in their commercial management of the project including cost reporting, estimating, procurement assistance, and cost verification.

HS2

HS2 is the UK’s largest transport infrastructure scheme, delivering a new high‑speed rail line between London and the West Midlands. The project includes extensive tunnelling, viaducts, earthworks and station construction, with ongoing programme resets to control costs and improve delivery sequencing.
